Integrated Motion

The Philips SpeechMike Premium is the first stationary dictation device to be controlled by the movement of your hand!

The motion sensor detects when it is put on the table, automatically muting the microphone. When it is picked back up it will automatically un-mute the microphone. Taking it further, Philips allows you to program custom events with this feature to do things like pause and continue recordings.

Configurable Instruction Key

Antimicrobial and Fingerprint Resistant Housing

The polished, pearl metal colored housing of the SpeechMike Premium is made of high-class polymers and uses antimicrobial synthetics that last for at least five years. It fights against a wide range of different microorganisms such as bacteria (e.g. pneumococcal bacilli and multiresistant microorganisms such as MRSA), viruses (e.g. HIV, influenza, etc.), fungi (e.g. Aspergillus niger), or algae. The finish is also engineered to reduce noise during use.

Laser-Scanned and Self-Cleaning Trackball

The built-in high-precision stainless steel trackball is self lubricated and the Teflon bearings resist abrasion guaranteeing smooth operation for the lifetime of the SpeechMike Premium.

The laser scanner and self-cleaning features ensure precision and durability for the most demanding user.

Should the need ever arise, the trackball can be removed for cleaning.
