The Olympus LS-14 Linear PCM Recorder offers amazing quality in a small package because of the Tresmic three microphone system. Without a doubt, Olympus's new Tresmic three microphone system delivers exceptional sound over a wide frequency range. It features two Stereo Directional microphones and a Center Omni Directional microphone. This allows you to record lower bass ranges with arresting clarity. Should you need an external mic option, there is a 3.5mm Microphone Jack along with a 3.5mm Line In Jack. It also features a 3.5mm Earphone Jack.

There is a built-in metronome and you have the ability to tune your instruments using the built in tuner.

Other features are the over overdubbing, pre-recording, and a PC Interface port for connecting over USB to your computer.

Use the 99 point indexer function to quickly mark and return to key recording points for later review.

The Smart Mode easily detects the best recording level automatically. But if your an audio geek the Manual mode gives your full control. There's also a Quick Record Mode. Easily select between them to suit your needs.

The extra-high quality linear PCM recording of the Olympus LS-14 utilizes a quantization bit rate of up to 24 bit. The sampling frequency goes up to 96 kHz. What does that mean? It means your recording will be of a higher quality than CD-quality sound.

The LS-14 comes with 4GB of internal memory plus it features the ability to expand to up to 32GB via the SDSDHC slot.

Easily attach it to a microphone stand or set it on the table with the included clip which screws into the tripod hole on the back of the unit.
