Drive Scan is driven by the Drive Scan Rules. Start Stop Transport has simplified this process for you. Each time a new transcriber has been entered into the Transcriber’s Information file, all “Scan Rules” for that Transcriber will be set up automatically. The option to scan that Transcriber’s folder will be defaulted to “SCAN.” You may at this time change the defaults or turn off scanning for a transcriber altogether.
To change a Transcribers folder to scan, simply select or create a new folder.
Auto Scan Drive can be manually started or stopped at any time. Any files in the folders described by the “Scan Drive Rules” will be affected.
