Professionals know that capturing every syllable and every note is mission critical to success in the world of today. Whether you need to record a music performance or record business meetings and conference, you need a simple reliable solution that produces highly accurate and crystal clear recordings. And you need those recordings to be easy to reference, distribute, and transcribe after the event. Enter the PMR61 professional digital audio recorder.
The Superscope PMR61 digital audio recorder meets all these demands and does it with a non-technical design that is compact, uncluttered, and super simple to use. It is a twenty-first century piece of technology that quite possibly is the smartest digital recorder in the market today.
Every day round the globe business professionals get together for meetings, gather at conferences and seminars to share and learn, give lectures in their field of studies and work, or undertake legal proceedings. Each one of those meetings is important and getting a poor recording, or worse, a failed recording because things weren't setup correctly or a record button wasn't pushed, can influence and determine the success of the professional. The Superscope professional digital audio recorder is designed to prevent failed recordings and comes with failsafe features.
The top panel layout is engineered for quick access and error free operation. Featuring just four buttons, the guess work of which button to push helps eliminate user error, leading to less stress and the striking down the fear of not getting the recording you need when you need it.
The immediate status of this professional audio recorder when recording is displayed on the beautiful touch screen which also enables fast access to the PMR61 menu for quick painless setup, navigation, and operational control.
Wouldn't it be brilliant if the recorder started to record those important events and meetings even if you forgot to push the record button? Of course it would! So the designers at Superscope added that smart function to the PMR61. In the settings menu you can tell the machine to start recording the moment you power it on. A feature superb for courtroom proceedings or those one-on-one interviews you do.
There is also a setting for automatically starting a recording by telling the machine to listen for a predetermined audio level.
The PMR61 takes advantage of the inexpensive but abundant USB flash drive for quick record it and go functionality. Plug your thumb drive in, record, and when you are done recording that USB recording is instantly ready to go or send off.
The professional digital audio recorder also features 16GB of internal solid state memory which has a capacity to hold up to 4,300 hours worth of recordings. And for the backup minded the PMR61 comes with the ability to simultaneously record to internal solid state memory and to the external USB port providing a failsafe archive option for those really important recordings.
The PMR61 can simply be plugged into an electrical outlet with its included DC power adapter but it is also able to operate on battery power. With four off-the-shelf AA alkaline batteries when at power outlet isn't available. Even better, it works with store-bought Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) AA rechargeable batteries, providing over four hours of the recording time. When plugged in to power, the PMR61 will charge the Ni-MH batteries.
Most important of all, when you combine the outlet powered method with the battery powered option, should the power go out or be interrupted by a power blip, the batteries seamlessly take over making sure your recording it uninterrupted.
Secure the unit with a password. This keeps someone from accidentally changing recording settings. And in the event that you need to role out the event settings you set up for your critical recording to multiple PMR61 units, you can easily copy upload those setting from one unit to all the others via a USB flash drive. This make setup across multiple PMR61 units a simple fast task.
Equipped with an internal speaker, you can play back any recording. But you can also play it back over headphones or the balanced and unbalanced line outputs if you desire.
The PMR61 allows for naming each recording with two unique identifiers which can be included with the file name along with the date and time so that each recording can be quickly labeled and identified for future management.
Recordings can be recorded in CD-quality 16-bit, 44.1 kHz WAV files and it also employs non-proprietary MP3 compression settings and sample frequencies which greatly reduce the file sizes. This allows for easy distribution over email attachment.
The PMR61 features pretty much every input and output you will need.
